Finasteride

£12.00

Finasteride
Finasteride is a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor that reduces dihydrotestosterone (DHT) levels, effectively treating conditions like androgenic alopecia and benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Finasteride 1mg, pharmaceutical grade, supplied as 20 tablets. Finasteride blocks the conversion of testosterone to DHT, effective for genetic hair loss on a testosterone base, and of no use at all against compounds that already are DHT derivatives. UK dispatch, tracked delivery.

Finasteride Research Areas

  • Reduces DHT: Inhibits the enzyme converting testosterone to dihydrotestosterone
  • Works on a testosterone base: Where elevated testosterone means elevated DHT, this is exactly what it is designed for
  • Does nothing against DHT derivatives: Masteron, winstrol, anavar, primobolan and DHB do not require that enzyme
  • Sexual side effects: Reported persistently enough to weigh seriously rather than dismiss

How Finasteride Works

Finasteride inhibits 5-alpha-reductase, the enzyme that converts testosterone into DHT. Less DHT means slower pattern hair loss in those genetically susceptible, a well-established effect.

The limitation is structural: it blocks a conversion, so compounds that skip that conversion are entirely unaffected.

Where Finasteride Helps and Where It Cannot

On a testosterone-only cycle it is doing its job. Alongside masteron, winstrol, anavar, primobolan or DHB it achieves nothing for hair, because those compounds already are what finasteride exists to prevent.

Trenbolone is not reduced by that enzyme either.
