How Tamoxifen (Nolvadex) Works
Tamoxifen occupies oestrogen receptors selectively. At the hypothalamus and pituitary that restarts the axis; in breast tissue it prevents oestrogen acting where gynecomastia develops.
That second property is what separates it from clomid and from any aromatase inhibitor.
Tamoxifen vs an Aromatase Inhibitor
